Hello! I’m Emma and I have always been passionate about holistic health. I studied for a diploma in Naturopathy in my early 20's and since worked in health and social care in leaderships and supportive roles over the past 15 years, including work as a mental health practitioner.
I have always felt called to work with people in a more holistic way following my own struggles with anxiety, and later trained to become a mindfulness teacher, through Oxford College of Mindfulness. This completely changed my life, and I wanted to share these ancient, but simple teachings, with others who might be experiencing stress, depression and anxiety.
Following on from this, I discovered the balancing effects of flower essences and trained as a Bach Flower Remedy Practitioner. In addition to this, the past 10 years I have also trained and become a certified as an EFT & NLP Master Practitioner, Life & Spiritual Coach, Chakra Energy Healer & Reiki Master (L3) I have integrated the essences of these powerful teachings, with my own insights and spiritual guidance, and Mindful Essences was born.
While we won’t be exploring the past as a therapist might do, we address what is happening in the here and now, with mindfulness practices and the emotional support of flower essences to help bring balance and facilitate healing.
I am a member of the CTAA (Complementary Therapists Accredited Association) and registered with the Mindfulness Teachers Association. I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate.
