My name is Ruth Brown. I have worked as a Holistic Therapist since 2011, when I qualified at The City of Bath College.

I currently work at Neal’s Yard and Bath Thermae Spa as well as at the Soul Spa as a massage therapist.

During the summer I work in the healing field at festivals such as Glastonbury and The Green Gathering as a therapist.

The treatments I offer are Aromatherapy, Indian Head Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Swedish massage, Hot Stone Massage, Candle Massage, Seated Accupressure, Reflexology , Reiki and Facials. The treatments I offer are suitable for everyone.

I am fully qualified – VTCT and ITEC level 3 – and I have FHT insurance.

I was inspired to follow a path in Holistic Therapies as I have realised for a long time that conventional medicine does not have all the answers. Holistic therapies can work alongside Western medicine to balance mind, body and spirit and act as a preventative to disease such as stress and insomnia as well as conditions such as muscular ailments.

I continue to be inspired by the work I do as I enjoy helping people and seeing the positive results of my work each day.

Shamanism is the oldest form of spiritual practice dating back thousands of years ago, across the world.  Shamanism aims to restore balance of our vitality and personal power which may have been blocked by trauma, soul loss, addictions or negative attachments.During my one to one sessions and workshops I aim to restore this balance by connecting with our spirit guides which are communicated through Shamanic journeying . 

Shamanic journeying takes you on an emotional and mental adventure where you gain self awareness and knowledge of your primal roots and ancestral spirit guides. You can expect to feel more connected, whole and full of creative energy and vitality through exploring this beautiful path.
